Within the AFLCMC/HI Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (BES), the Cyber Security Domain provides cyber support to Air Force users to empower the acquisition, operation, sustainment, and security of warfighting systems. Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer located at the USAF Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division in San Antonio, TX.  This position will support the Cryptographic Modernization 2 (CM2) program.  CM2 extends the original cryptographic modernization activity to modernize cryptographic equipment to defend against advanced classical and quantum computing threats.    LOCATION: San Antonio, TX    JOB STATUS: Full time    TRAVEL: Occasional CONUS travel     REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)     SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret to start, TS/SCI preferred    EDUCATION: M.S. in electrical engineering or comparable engineering or science discipline     CERTIFICATIONS:    EXPERIENCE LEVEL:  12 years, of which 5 years must be in DoD, or B.S. in electrical engineering (or comparable engineering or science discipline) with 15 years of directly related experience.    OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:   - Capable of performing problem/gap definition, trade space analysis, and science and technology roadmap analysis  - Government program office experience preferred  - Government system acquisition experience preferred     RESPONSIBILITIES:   - Apply a broad theoretical and practical knowledge of system engineering to the CM2 acquisition process.   - Conduct reviews on the program portfolio to evaluate and/or recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering programs/processes, manage/sustain program technical baseline, and design/perform system level tests to assure that subsystems and system performance is achieved in accordance with approved specifications  - Perform program reviews to evaluate alternative proposed plans, systems engineering programs, design and test results to assure that subsystem and system performance is achieved in accordance with program specifications  - Prepare technical documents which define, specify, and recommend system/subsystem characteristics. PRIMARY FUNCTION: Oasis Systems has a need for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to provide support to the Force Protection program office, which is within the Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.   RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conduct inspections of Fixed-Site Security Systems installation during and post installation efforts to ensure contract and code compliance. - Conduct reviews of contractor deliverables and provide discrepancy comments with recommended corrective actions. - Conduct on-site verifications of Red Lined Drawings and As Built Configuration Lists (ABCL) to ensure the Government customer receives comprehensive and accurate As-Built Drawings and equipment lists. - Provide QA recommendations to the organization’s template State of Work, Specification and CDRL deliverables. - Coordinate and oversee site surveys to evaluate facility capabilities to support system requirements. - Responsible for developing Facility Requirement Documents (FRDs) and associated Statements of Work (SOW). - Evaluate architectural and engineering plans for technical feasibility. - Support proposal evaluations and technical design reviews. - Participate in special projects, technical meetings, and source selections as required.
