Test Engineer support data link technology testing and evaluation.  You could be the critical missing piece to our team!  This position will be located at Eglin AFB, FL.    LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FL JOB STATUS: Full-Time TRAVEL: Able to travel CONUS and OCONUS (estimated at 20% of the time).   REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills) SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance. The Contractor shall follow the Life Cycle Systems Engineering (LCSE) and OSS&E related AFIs and all lower level supplements and related documents including applicable Operating Instructions (OI). - Assist with establishing, implementing and adhering to LCSE processes to ensure OSS&E compliance is achieved and maintained. - Aid the USAF in reviewing and updating the OSS&E Baseline Document and shall support the USAF in the identification of OSS&E elements, progress reporting of OSS&E metrics, and interaction with other organizations to ensure continued OSS&E compliance. - Ascertain the implementation status of the SEP throughout program operations and notify the USAF of pertinent shortfalls or gaps for which corrective action may be needed. - Support the Mechanical System Integrity (SI) Program, maintain and update the Critical Safety Item list, and monitor airworthiness certification for F-15 Division aircraft. - Participate in value stream mapping activities and Air Force Smart Operations for the 21st Century (AFSO21) Program Facilitation. The Federal Division of Oasis Systems has exciting opportunities for a Jr.Systems Engineerlocated at the Federal Aviation Administration in Washington, DC. We also work with aviation organizations around the world and provide management consulting services to other public and private entities.   LOCATION: Washington, DC JOB STATUS: Full-time TRAVEL: As needed   REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills) SECURITY CLEARANCE: Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science degree required CERTIFICATIONS: An advanced degree in an Engineering discipline, or related field, would be preferred EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 0-5 years of experience   OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:  - Demonstrated expertise with new and legacy systems, technical alternative analyses, acquisition management of information systems, and information management tools. - Experience working with FAA programs and systems. - Experience working on aviation and avionics systems - is a plus. - Experience working on and managing large and complex projects. - Self-motivated, independent thinker that requires minimal supervision. - Ideal candidate is a customer-service oriented problem solver with the ability to work independently and as part of diverse teams - Exceptional oral and written communication skills, organizational, critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, and interpersonal skills are essential. - Must be flexible in adapting to deadlines and changing priorities, has a pro-active attitude and a disciplined work ethic. A demonstrated flexibility of schedule and ability to handle last minute, short turnaround items. This includes an ability to quickly assess a situation or deliverable and then implement the most beneficial changes possible in the available time. - The ability to rebound and adapt quickly to sudden changes in deliverable requirements or deliverable expectations. - Thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word. RESPONSIBILITIES:  - Responsible for information systems engineering, functional analysis of Air Traffic Control or Air Traffic Management system requirements, development, production, test and evaluation of related information systems. - Support of overall team and project objectives in support of the FAA.
