  • Overview


    Oasis Systems is seeking an experienced practitioner in enterprise systems architecture with wide knowledge systems integration activities, disciplined systems engineering processes, and demonstrated ability to assist in the enterprise solution implementation.

    This position would be supporting the Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS) program office, which is within the Battle Management Directorate, located at Hanscom AFB, MA.




    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering discipline.
    • A minimum of 3 yers work experience, with experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desirable.
    • Knowledge of Rational System Architect, DoDAF, and familiarization of Air Force Processes is desired.
    • Candidate must obtain, and maintain, the proper personnel clearance for this position.


    • Applies knowledge of system engineering to assist Government in the development of solicitation packages (RFP) and subsequent review of technical aspects related to proposal.
    • Analyze existing systems and future requirements, develop and document solution architectures, all while understanding and incorporating relationships to existing and future enterprise architectures.
    • Contribute to formulation and documentation of all system-related business enterprise architecture (BEA) and Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) artifacts
    • Devises strategies and technical recommendations for deploying and implementing new acquisition initiatives and tools for measuring the effectiveness of implementation.
    • Uses quantitative analytical techniques to assess systems acquisition process issues and develop risk reduction/mitigation approaches for improving acquisition, program planning, control, and execution.
    • Assists government in the planning, integration and execution of acquisition strategy and associated lifecycle documentation for new requirements and/or the enhancement/sustainment of existing capabilities
    • Applies engineering expertise associated with system based technology acquisitions and lifecycle sustainment
