    Provide Logistics Management support to the Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS) program office, which is within the Battle Management Directorate at Hanscom AFB, MA.







    * Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning during each phase

    * Possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team

    * Proficient Microsoft office skills

    * Extensive experience with defense acquisition management processes in accordance with the DoD 5000

    * Knowledge of the DoD's integrated product support element structure

    * Familiarity with the Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS-BCA) and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) processes

    * Familiarity with accomplishing a Logistics Health Assessment (LHA)

    * Knowledge of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook

    * Ability to lead a project team in completing complex projects

    * Knowledge of agency program planning, funding, and management information systems

    * Broad knowledge of the organization and functions of activities involved in providing logistical support

    * Ability to coordinate and evaluate the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements and to develop and adjust plans and schedules for the actions needed to meet each requirement on time.

    * The paramount qualification requirement is the ability to integrate the separate functions in planning or implementing a logistics management program

    * Must have an active US security clearance



    • Provide logistics/sustainment capabilities across all aspects of the AWACS program with emphasis on providing technical logistics/sustainment support to senior AFLCMC/HBS leadership.
    • Evaluate and develop logistics sustainment solutions to ensure terminal and terrestrial communications Operational Availability requirements are maintained.
    • Lead the development of all logistics documentation including Life Cycle Management Plans, TO management plans, Source of Repair Processes and Transition Plans, etc. Implement, execute, monitor, and document integrated logistics and sustainment efforts, analyze requirements, review and analyze Development/Sustainment contractor submitted proposals, coordinate procurement of logistics deliverables (e.g., spares, support equipment, and training support), integrating of system upgrade documentation into logistics information repositories, and Analyze Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM).
    • Provide logistics and sustainment inputs to acquisition documents such as Statements of Objectives, Requests for Proposals, Engineering Change Proposals, Program Management Plans, ILSPs, SOWs, PWSs, Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), CDRLs, SEPs, LCMPs, Technical Manuals (TMs), Technical Orders, FCA/PCA documents, and Depot Source of Repair (DSOR).
    • Direct/active participation and leadership as appropriate in logistics/sustainment technical discussions/meetings both internally and externally to the BMEWS program office.
    • Provide support to government analyses, development of options, analysis of each option, and recommended solutions with in depth technical justification and background. Provide technical support to the AWACS technical oversight of the Prime contractor's logistics support performance.
