  • Overview

    MAR Division of Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a full time Software Engineer Level I.  The Software Engineer (manual tester) analyzes diverse software systems and documents functional requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Executes test plans and test procedures. Resolves software problem reports. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. This position is located at Ft. Meade.

     

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)

    This candidate must have experience with the following:

    • EXPERIENCE LEVEL: (7) years’ experience as a SWE/SW Tester.
    • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related, technical field, (4) years, additional SWE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
    • CERTIFICATIONS AND TOOLS: N/A
    • SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have a TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Functionally, the successful candidate will:

    • Analyze functional requirements and conduct research in order to develop test cases.
    • Experience developing/executing test plans, test procedures, and producing test reports.
    • Manual testing experience.
    • Experience with the following tools: IBM Rational, ClearQuest, MS Office.
    • TRAVEL: Occasional domestic travel.
