  • Overview

    Successful candidate will provide EPASS Advisory and Assistance Services to the Battle Management Directorate (AFLCMC/HB) at the AF Life-Cycle Management Center (previously the Electronic Systems Center). The projects we are supporting are: Force Protection Division (AFLCMC/HBU), HBAB-DILS, HBAB-DRAPCON, HBB-FOG, HBBA-AOC, HBBA-PEG, HBBC-AFMSTT, HBBC-C2AOS-C2IS, HBBC-TBMCS, HBBD, HBBI, HBBI-EV, HBD - 3DELRR, HBIO-FOG/PEG & Biz Dev Team, HBJ-JSTARS RECAP, HBM Integration Group, HBN, HBS-HOME OPS, HBSB-E-3 Block 40/45, HBW-SAOC.  This position will have to interface with a team of military, Government civilian, contractor project managers and FFRDC/A&AS support personnel in the day-to-day activities associated with management of HB’s projects, programs and initiatives.




    Ranges from, Level I: BA/BS, 4 years of experience; or  8 years of directly relatable experience;  to Level III: Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience (5 years DoD), or BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience (5 years DoD), or 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications (8 DoD).


    Note: Oasis has some flexibility to swap experience for degree requirements and vice-versa.

    IT Certifications are a plus.




    Secret, Top Secret clearance (depending on location); or as a minimum, the ability to obtain a clearance



    The successful candidate will be able to plan, develop, implement, and administer information systems for the acquisition, storage, and retrieval of data. Functions required to be performed by individuals in this specialty may include but are not limited to:

    • Documenting and delivering file plans
    • Maintaining a variety of electronic files and websites utilizing web-based applications
    • Analyzing and recommending data requirements and specifications
    • Designing, normalizing, developing, installing, and implementing databases
    • Maintaining, monitoring, performance tuning, backup, and recovery of databases
    • Installing, configuring, and maintaining database management systems software
    • Analyzing and planning for anticipated changes in data capacity requirements
    • Developing and administering data standards, policies, and procedures
    • Developing and implementing data mining and data warehousing programs
    • Evaluating and providing recommendations on new database technologies and architectures
    • Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/ cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of data management services
    • Performing Microsoft SharePoint administration duties. Responsible for providing technical support for the SharePoint environment including assessment and implementation of new capabilities. Duties may include:

      o Configuring SharePoint services and settings

      o Documenting SharePoint configuration and architecture

      o Managing site quotas and file size limits

      o Reviewing and monitoring usage reports

      o Managing content databases and creating new ones as required

      o Administering and maintaining sites

      o Managing site layout structure and content

      o Providing SharePoint support to end users


    General Responsibilities:

    • Works with assigned administrative, and matrixed acquisition support, financial management, engineering contracting, configuration and data management, and other staff.
    • Works with the Oasis Task Lead and Oasis teammates to document processes, and initiate and implement AFSO21 Rapid Improvement Events, Training Events and mentoring sessions for all task personnel.
    • Responsible for developing Integrated Master Schedule inputs, and tracking and reporting on Progress for assigned program(s).
    • Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, and other technical documentation.
    • Facilitates and supports Division meetings and reviews, team building, strategic planning, and other on- and off-site activities.
    • Assists as needed in preparing and reviewing program/project documentation, e.g. Determinations and Findings, Justifications and Approvals, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Statement Of Objectives (SOOs), Statements-of-Work (SOWs), Program Implementation Packages (PiPs), Performance Works Statements (PWS), Systems/Technical Requirements Documents (SRD/TRD), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Program Support Agreements (PSA), EMAs, 1067s, etc. and assist in source selections.
    • Performs other duties as required.
