  • Overview

    Successful candidate will provide EPASS Advisory and Assistance Services to the Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence, and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate (AFLCMC/HN) at the AF Life-Cycle Management Center (previously the Electronic Systems Center). The C3I&N Directorate’s primary mission is: Connecting Warfighters with Affordable, Secure, and War-Winning Cyber, C3I and Network Systems. The Directorate provides C3I connectivity, network, and infrastructure between Joint, Coalition, AF, and Allied countries space, air, terrestrial, and cyber domains. The Directorate in headquartered at Hanscom AFB, MA with 11 other operating locations.  This position will have to interface with a team of military, Government civilian, contractor project managers and FFRDC/A&AS support personnel in the day-to-day activities associated with management of HN’s projects, programs and initiatives.

    Qualifications

    Ranges from, Level II: BA/BS, 10 years of experience (3 yrs DoD); or  15 years of directly relatable experience (5 DoD);  to Level III: Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience (5 years DoD), or BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience (5 years DoD), or 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications (8 DoD).

     

    Note: Oasis has some flexibility to swap experience for degree requirements and vice-versa.

    IT Certifications are a plus.

     

    ADDITIONAL INFO:

    Position Location(s): Hanscom AFB, Lackland AFB.

    Travel: Occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required.

          Secret, Top Secret clearance (depending on location); or as a minimum, the ability to obtain a clearance

    Responsibilities

    Specific Responsibilities:

     

    The successful candidate will be able to provide technical and managerial expertise to an Air Force Systems Program Office in acquisition management and the accountability of Government Furnished Property (GFP), Equipment (GFE), Government Furnished Software (GFS), Special Tooling (ST), Special Test Equipment (STE), Government Furnished Information, Material and Facilities (GFI, GFM, GFF). The individual shall:

    • Define requirements and evaluate GFP/GFE documents including Requests for Proposal, Statements of Work, Statement of Objectives, Technical Evaluations, and Source Selection.
    • Interface with various Government agencies to obtain the use of Government testing facilities or provide GFE assets to support the development of the program requirements and objectives.
    • Assist in the procurement or loan of GFE material/assets in support of program teams for the development and fielding of the acquired programs and systems.
    • Develop and/or utilize existing databases to track and monitor for accuracy all DD-1149's and other accountability documents to inform Management as to the current status of all GFP/GFE on various contracts.
    • Interface with program teams to generate various contractual documentation to support the acquisition, disposition, and/or repair of all GFE assets required in support of the programs.
    • Understands and complies with all procedures in reference to the FAR, DFARs, and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR), pertaining to the acquisition of GFP, GFE, and related items.
    • Provides FIAR reports and readiness assessments for leadership in preparation for IG inspections or DCAA or other agency audits as it relates to FIAR.

    General Responsibilities:

    • Works with assigned administrative, and matrixed acquisition support, financial management, engineering contracting, configuration and data management, and other staff.
    • Works with the Oasis Task Lead and Oasis teammates to document processes, and initiate and implement AFSO21 Rapid Improvement Events, Training Events and mentoring sessions for all task personnel.
    • Responsible for developing Integrated Master Schedule inputs, as well as tracking and reporting on Progress for assigned program(s).
    • Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, and other technical documentation.
    • Facilitates and supports Division meetings and reviews, team building, strategic planning, and other on- and off-site activities.

    Performs other duties as required
