  • Overview

    Successful candidate will provide EPASS Advisory and Assistance Services to the Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence, and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate (AFLCMC/HN) at the AF Life-Cycle Management Center (previously the Electronic Systems Center). The C3I&N Directorate’s primary mission is: Connecting Warfighters with Affordable, Secure, and War-Winning Cyber, C3I and Network Systems. The Directorate provides C3I connectivity, network, and infrastructure between Joint, Coalition, AF, and Allied countries space, air, terrestrial, and cyber domains. The Directorate in headquartered at Hanscom AFB, MA with 11 other operating locations.  This position will have to interface with a team of military, Government civilian, contractor project managers and FFRDC/A&AS support personnel in the day-to-day activities associated with management of HN’s projects, programs and initiatives.

    Qualifications

    Ranges from, Level II: BA/BS, 10 years of experience (3 yrs DoD); or  15 years of directly relatable experience (5 DoD);  to Level III: Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience (5 years DoD), or BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience (5 years DoD), or 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications (8 DoD).

     

    Note: Oasis has some flexibility to swap experience for degree requirements and vice-versa.

    IT Certifications are a plus.

     

    ADDITIONAL INFO:

    Position Location(s): Hanscom AFB, Lackland AFB.

           Travel: Occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required

           Secret, Top Secret clearance (depending on location); or as a minimum, the ability to obtain a clearance

    Responsibilities

    Specific Responsibilities:

     

    The successful candidate will perform work that applies knowledge and expertise in the area of sensor systems, platform integration, ISR collection architectures, and the sensor capabilities of Elector Optic (EO), Infrared (IR), and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). The Contractor shall possess in-depth knowledge of legacy platforms and systems and corresponding support architectures. Candidate must have knowledge and competencies to enable the identification of sensor/platform requirements, developmental planning, systems development, and systems engineering to include System of Systems (SoS). The Contractor shall also have expertise in concept development and design including those of collection architectures. The individual shall be able to provide inputs to technology investment and developmental planning activities, to include technical assessments, development of sensor roadmaps, and recommendations for across the board ISR infrastructure modifications and enhancements. The Contractor must be familiar with the concept and operations of layered sensing and the planning, collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination of national and tactical sensor data.

     

    General Responsibilities:

    • Works with assigned administrative, and matrixed acquisition support, financial management, engineering contracting, configuration and data management, and other staff.
    • Works with the Oasis Task Lead and Oasis teammates to document processes, and initiate and implement AFSO21 Rapid Improvement Events, Training Events and mentoring sessions for all task personnel.
    • Responsible for developing Integrated Master Schedule inputs, as well as tracking and reporting on Progress for assigned program(s).
    • Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, and other technical documentation.
    • Facilitates and supports Division meetings and reviews, team building, strategic planning, and other on- and off-site activities.
    • Assists as needed in preparing and reviewing program/project documentation, e.g. Determinations and Findings, Justifications and Approvals, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Statement Of Objectives (SOOs), Statements-of-Work (SOWs), Program Implementation Packages (PiPs), Performance Works Statements (PWS), Systems/Technical Requirements Documents (SRD/TRD), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Program Support Agreements (PSA), EMAs, 1067s, etc. and assist in source selections.
    • Performs other duties as required.
