    Successful candidate will provide EPASS Advisory and Assistance Services to the Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence, and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate (AFLCMC/HN) at the AF Life-Cycle Management Center (previously the Electronic Systems Center). The C3I&N Directorate’s primary mission is: Connecting Warfighters with Affordable, Secure, and War-Winning Cyber, C3I and Network Systems. The Directorate provides C3I connectivity, network, and infrastructure between Joint, Coalition, AF, and Allied countries space, air, terrestrial, and cyber domains. The Directorate in headquartered at Hanscom AFB, MA with 11 other operating locations.  This position will have to interface with a team of military, Government civilian, contractor project managers and FFRDC/A&AS support personnel in the day-to-day activities associated with management of HN’s projects, programs and initiatives.



    Ranges from, Level I: BA/BS, 4 years of experience; or  8 years of directly relatable experience;  to Level III: Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience (5 years DoD), or BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience (5 years DoD), or 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications (8 DoD).


    Note: Oasis has some flexibility to swap experience for degree requirements and vice-versa.

    IT Certifications are a plus.


    Position Location(s): Hanscom AFB, Lackland AFB.

    Travel: Occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required.

          Secret, Top Secret clearance (depending on location); or as a minimum, the ability to obtain a clearance



    Specific Responsibilities:


    The successful candidate must have comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of emergency management and building management. The candidate will be responsible for providing established policy on all issues, processes and procedures related to emergency management to building occupants. They will work with the Hanscom Base Safety Manager and other base personnel to coordinate emergency and safety management processes and procedures. They will brief the workforce on all the above. Building management duties will include working with contractors, vendors, base civil engineers, and other base personnel on all activities required to maintain the office building.


    The candidate will track requested and scheduled projects relating to design and maintenance of the facility and supporting equipment (e.g. HVAC, Fire Alarm). Other functions commonly performed by individuals in this specialty may include:

    • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
    • Record and maintain information on safety certifications and inspections.
    • Manage data, adjust and track work orders.
    • Act as a liaison/focal point with all functional branches and shop supervisors.
    • Project and coordinate work schedules and recurring work details (e.g. Snow Removal, Building Clean-up) with management/supervisors of building occupants.
    • Monitor service calls and do-it-now emergency response teams.
    • Collect and record budget information.
    • Coordinate with engineering technicians for mechanical equipment, air conditioning, refrigeration, fire systems, stand-by emergency power, and related preventative maintenance programs.
    • Track the assignment of reserved parking spaces.
    • Track the cleaning and maintenance of the facility.
    • Support Group readiness for Base Readiness Exercises and Unit Compliance Inspection activities as required.
    • Help manage the Division self-inspection process, including checklist tracking and completion, as requested by MICT Administrator.
    • Utilize SOCCER, Workflow, LiveLink, and other necessary Government tracking systems.
    • Facilitate all Official Mail, Fed Ex, and UPS pickups/deliveries.
    • Assist with Emergency Management procedures (e.g. Building Evacuation Plans) to accomplish occupant compliance with accountability requirements.

    General Responsibilities:

    • Works with assigned administrative, and matrixed acquisition support, financial management, engineering contracting, configuration and data management, and other staff.
    • Works with the Oasis Task Lead and Oasis teammates to document processes, and initiate and implement AFSO21 Rapid Improvement Events, Training Events and mentoring sessions for all task personnel.
    • Facilitates and supports Division meetings and reviews, team building, strategic planning, and other on- and off-site activities.
    • Performs other duties as required.
