  • Overview

     

    Provide program management support to the Three-Dimensional Expeditionary Long-Range Radar (3DELRR) branch in the Theater Battle Control Division (HBDD). 

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    • GED or equivalent required
    • 7 years of acquisition program management required, 2 of which must be in defense acquisitions
    • Extensive knowledge of DoD, Air Force, systems acquisitions, and program management required
    • Must be able to apply qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring acquisition program effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity
    • Strong oral and written communication skills required

     

    SECURITY CLEARANCE/LEVEL REQUIRED:  Secret clearance or, at a minimum, the ability to obtain a clearance

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition to assist with development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment
    • Recommend viable solutions to problems and devise alternate courses of actions
    • Ensure program remains within schedule and cost baselines
    • Assist the program manager by devising strategies and developing plans to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives
    • Provide quality acquisition documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.) to the program manager
    • Develop, prepare, and deliver Government compliant program management documentation
    • Provide assistance in the area of systems acquisition policy and recommend policy improvements as needed
    • Provide support to program IPT’s: facilitating, action item capture and tracking
    • Assist in milestone staffing and coordination process
