    PRIMARY FUNCTION:

    Provide fielding engineering support to the Air Operations Center (AOC) Program, which is within the Battle Management Directorate at Hanscom AFB, MA.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

      • BA/BS and 5 years of related work experience
      • Experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs is desired
      • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an IPT environment
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Must have a active US Security Clearance

     

    Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    As a member of the AOC Fielding team, the candidate  will support the following efforts:

     

    • Technical planning, analysis, Fielding and execution activities of the AOC program office and developing key technical documentation with consistent and timely engineering processes.

    • Establish system engineering planning, process and development oversight execution capability for AOC throughout the life-cycle phases.

    • Provide support for the following types of tasks:  studies and analyses; review & evaluate system technical specifications/designs/analyses/test results to determine compliance with requirements; assess and provide an analysis of other relevant documentation.

    • Provide the capability to develop and review Statements of Work.
    • Provide technical expertise to assess and report on performance, metrics of progress and compliance as well as verification of process and configuration management.
    • Attend Technical Interchange Meetings with prime contractors providing technical evaluations of analyses ad trade-off activities, assessments of contractor technical efforts.
    • Provide engineering support to the various IPTs and Working Groups communicating engineering objectives and system level inputs.
