This is a new position providing general financial analysis & reporting support in a rapidly growing company located in Lexington MA. The successful candidate must have a good understanding of budgeting, reporting & analysis, ideally in a professional services or defense industry firm.




  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.


  • 2+ years of financial analysis experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize concurrent requirements and accommodate numerous stakeholders
  • Independent and self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude
  • Comfortable with finance tools, including Excel, and Deltek GCS and Costpoint.
  • Strong written, presentation and verbal skills.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • This is a new position, so the duties and responsibilities will be adapted to fit the experiences and ambitions of the successful candidate.
  • Develop standard Reports to help monitor spending activities, trends and exceptions.
  • Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reporting budget vs actuals, forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Provide in depth financial analysis and models to ensure compliance with corporate initiatives and goals.
  • Partner with the Organizational Business Owners in managing expenses, providing budget owners visibility to costs and trends, and developing monthly and annual budgets.
  • Work closely with and receive guidance from the Finance Team members as well as work independently to enhance reporting capabilities, and efficiencies.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate booking of all indirect costs, including labor, fringe, facilities and IT purchases.
  • Main support for annual DCAA and Internal Audits, and Incurred Cost Submission.
  • Ad hoc analyses and reporting.
