Overview

Provide Test Engineering support to the Aviation Resource Management Systems (ARMS) program office, which is within the Business Enterprise Systems Directorate (AFLCMC/HI) at Maxwell-Gunter AFB, AL.

 

ARMS provides aviation resource management information to effectively support implementation of Air Force aviation management policies for flight, parachutist, and missileer programs

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desired
  • Be a master communicator and facilitator keeping the ARMS Program Management Office (PMO) abreast of all test related activities and artifacts.
  • Must be conversant with the test tools used by the disparate RTOs or LDTOs which could include HP ALM, Quality Center, Team Foundation Server, or similar tools.

  • Skill in analyzing and interpreting technical transportation requirements to perform a variety of assignments within the Program Office
  • Candidate must have an active US security clearance.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide guidance and leadership in all Integrated Test Team (ITT) activities.
  • These activities include the development of a Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), test scripts, templates, scenarios, and reports

  • Design a test strategy encompassing all required testing activities, utilizing tools such as Fortify, Load-Runner, and Unified Functional Testing (UFT) which are virtually and physicaly located in the Capabilities Integration Environment (CIE) and Montgomery, DISA DECC facility.
  • Develop Test and Evaluation Stragegy (TES), Integrated Test Plan(ITP), Test charter, and Test and Evaluation Master plan (TEMP) documents to adequately plan for end-to-end testing.
  • Build/maintain/update manual and automated test scripts.
  • Develop a template for System Test Procedures (STPs) and ensure conformance to the applicable standard in purpose, format, and content.
  • Develop test procedures to test each system requirement (based on the base-lined use cases).
  • Develop test procedures to test inbound, outbound and integrity of each base-lined interface.
  • Validate and manage user validations with Functional, Subject Matter Experts (SME) during the software configuration validations UFT.
  • Validate, annotate and mange user acceptance testing.
  • Execute verifications and validations of system requirements at the completion of each software configuration.
  • Execute testing of system requirements and record all Defect Reports (DRs) System Change Requests (SCRs), Performance Reports (PRs) Enhancement Requests (ER) in the project’s tracking application, Application Life Cycle Management (ALM) and report status or similar system.
