  • Overview

    Provide structural/civil engineering support to the International Programs & Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program office, which is within the Battle Management Directorate at Hanscom AFB, MA.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Construction, or equivalent field and 8 years of engineering experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an IPT environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in MS Office suite, including Project, knowledgeable in computer aided design software.
    • Experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desired.
    • PE License desired.
    • Expert in building codes, land use and building construction highly desired.
    • Candidate must have an active US secuirity clearance.

    Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist in the implementation of robust engineering and integration processes to address the lifecycle requirements of multiple FMS projects.
    • Assist as needed in preparing and reviewing program/project documentation (i.e. Determinations and Findings, Justifications and Approvals, Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Statement Of Objectives (SOOs), Statements-of-Work (SOWs), Program Implementation Packages (PiPs), Performance Works Statements (PWS), Facilities/Technical Requirements Documents (FRD/TRD), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Program Support Agreements (PSA).

    • Review, analyze, and prepare facilities-related documentation

    • Support site surveys

    • Review and analyze: Assessments and analyses of materials; assess site plans to ensure compliance with Federal State and local laws to include environmental laws

    • Solve engineering problems (or manage the solution of engineering problems) in the program or functional area to which assigned

    • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology and environmental laws associated with WAS sites as assigned

    • Participate in special projects and source selections as required.

    • Expected travel 25% (local and overseas)
