Overview

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Provide strong collaboration skills to advise and assists in the delivery of innovative software capabilities for the warfighter. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stream of software deliverables being rolled into production at various cycles. Provide support of the design and development of software capabilities being produced from a continuous integration / continues delivery pipeline as we well as enabling the Air Forces adopting of a DevOps culture.

 

This position will provide support to the Targeting & GEOINT (T & G) Program, which is within the AFLCMC/HBB Division at Hanscom AFB, MA.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience and 5 years of related work experience
  • Experience with Test Driven Development and agile methodologies
  • Proven experience of developing for high quality, reliable and maintainable code
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to translate complex methodologies to higher-level business insights and key take-aways
  • Web development experience Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Must have a active US Security Clearance

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proficient in agile software development methodology
  • Knowledge of Lean User Experience (UX) methodologies
  • Demonstrative knowledge of cloud-native (12 factor) applications
  • Utilize test driven development
  • Deploying to a cloud native platform
  • Knowledge of existing cloud-based infrastructure options
  • Participate in special projects, technical meetings, and source selections as required
  • Assisting in customer engagement, requirements definition, project scoping, and results documentation to ensure a professional relationship with stakeholders
  • Travel may be required up to 25%
