Overview

MAR Division of Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior .Net Developer to support the Farm Credit Administration (FCA). The Senior .Net Developer will develop and maintain applications to support enterprise-wide efforts.

LOCATION: McLean, VA

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 5 years of experience with .NET development, particularly with C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and SQL. Significant experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with JSON, Bootstrap, REST/RESTful web services, and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Ember, and Backbone desirable. Experience with, or knowledge of, PowerBuilder development highly desirable.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have an active Public Trust Security Clearance.

JOB STATUS: Full-Time - This position is contingent upon program award.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Functionally, the candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop custom applications that meet business requirements using Microsoft .NET technologies including C#, ASP.NET (WebAPI, MVC, WebForms), and ADO.NET.
  • Migrate legacy applications to .NET applications.
  • Write code that follows object-oriented design and patterns.
  • Apply technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON and mobile-first front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap to create robust and responsive .NET applications.
  • Creates SQL queries, tables views, functions, stored procedures, and indexes for use with applications.

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5 years of experience with .NET development, particularly with C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and SQL required.
  • Significant experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with JSON, Bootstrap, REST/RESTful web services, and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Ember, and Backbone desirable.
  • Experience with, or knowledge of, PowerBuilder development highly desirable.
