Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a QMED Oiler to operate and maintain the U.S. Army Vessel (USAV) WORTHY. 

Currently ship is in Seattle, WA - and we are looking for someone to complete missions from June 2022 ending first week of October 2022

LOCATION: Kwajalein, Marshall Islands
JOB STATUS: Part Time Surge Crew

The estimated dates are June 2022 – October 2022.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)

SECURITY CLEARANCE:Required to pass a Federal Background Investigation to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)

EDUCATION: Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.  Merchant Mariner's Document issued by the United States Coast Guard or equivalent
CERTIFICATIONS:Must be documented IAW International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW).  QMED Oiler or Assistant Engineer Endorsement

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use emergency equipment as directed by captain, mate, or pilot. Break out, rig, overhaul, and store cargo‐handling gear, stationary rigging, and running gear.
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to preserve the painted surface of the ship and to maintain line and ship equipment. Must hold government‐issued certification and tankerman certification when working aboard liquid‐carrying vessels
