Overview

Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a software engineer II located at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. This position provides software engineering services to the Trusted Systems and Networks (TSN) initiative at the USAF Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division.  The TSN initiative protects the integrity of the information and communications technology supply chain.   

 

LOCATION: Lackland AFB, TX

JOB STATUS: Full time

TRAVEL: Occasional CONUS travel

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret clearance to start

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE LEVEL:  Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 10 years’ experience, or in lieu of degree 15 years’ experience, of which 5 must be in the DoD.

 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: 

  • Software development experience using Go, Spring Boot (Java), Bootstrap UI, Material UI, Angular, React, SASS, Hibernate ORM, NodeJS, Maven, Javascript, HTML/CSS, Python
  • Familiar with familiar with object-oriented languages (C/C++, Java, etc.), HTML, CSS
  • Linux and Windows OS experience
  • SQL and non-SQL database experience
  • Containers and containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes, Hardening, etc.)
  • Software scripting/development experience
  • Understanding of software assurance and/or software security
  • Ability to research, find answers and draw conclusions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal guidance for most tasks
  • Ability to work in close collaboration with other team members

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop software/scripts to enable the automation of binary analysis
  • Develop software/scripts to enable the automation of static code analysis
  • Develop software/scripts to enable the correlation of data from hardware analysis
  • Develop software/scripts to enable future capability needs
  • Sustain current and future codebases - apply patches and develop features as needed
  • Ensure current software capabilities are active and available at all times
  • Maintain current tool lists
  • Research additional tools/processes to bridge gaps and integrate when appropriate/approved
  • Deploy, navigate, and demonstrate organic binary analysis toolchain
  • Deploy, navigate, and demonstrate organic static code aggregator
  • Deploy, navigate, and demonstrate organic correlation tool
  • Assist in research and development in the Software Assurance space
  • Attend meetings, briefs, working groups as necessary to expand capability and/or contribute to the DoD community (as approved)
  • Brief TSN mission, capabilities, project status, and results as necessary
